Hi Peter, thanks for your comment. Actually, since version 5 of memoQ, the whole procedure is no longer applicable as Wordfast Pro TXML files can be opened directly in memoQ as bilingual files. This definitely calls for an update to this post…

Thank you for this excellent write-up, which is exactly what I was looking for! However, I get the impression that since MemoQ 5 some of the steps described do no longer apply, notably from step 2.7. How about an update?

There are several solution to convert PDF to Word. Online and Offline. Personally speaking, online converter would be a quite easy way to do your job. But in return you need to provide your email address, wait for your word document and followed by lots of spam information. Offline converter means you need to pay the money, but it could be the fastest way to convert your PDF. I had tested some of them, I think PDF Converter beats the others. If you don’t mind the money, it should be the best choice to convert your PDF.

With PDF unlocker it is guaranteed that you unlock PDF within a few steps: choose the search method, choose the type of the password to unlock, and start the search! Google Translate is very easy but I think that it is good to try the new add-on because translating the text inside the AutoCAD will be more easy than using Google Translate.
